The VTID program partnered with and was sponsored by SustainFloyd to innovate sustainable business solutions and opportunities for various Floyd businesses. I selected Angels in the Attic, a donation based second-hand clothing non-profit that donates their earnings to various local charities and organizations. Guardian Angels is a zero-waste upcycling program curated for Angels in the Attic. The program creates bags and toys from excess or damaged clothing, sells bags in their storefront, and will make an annual donation of toys, clothing, backpacks, and a monetary donation to the Floyd County Department of Social Services.
